ICU Registered Nurse

Position: ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN)
Location: Various locations across the U.S.
Pay Scale: Competitive salary, up to $2,500/week
Shift: Flexible (Days/Nights available)

Job Overview:

As an ICU Registered Nurse (ICU RN), you will provide critical care to patients with severe, life-threatening conditions. Working in the Intensive Care Unit, you will monitor and treat patients who require intensive medical care, utilizing advanced medical equipment and technology. You’ll collaborate closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for your patients.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor, assess, and manage patients in critical condition, including vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and overall health status.
2. Administer medications, treatments, and life-supporting interventions as prescribed by physicians.
3. Operate and maintain complex medical equipment such as ventilators, monitors, and IV pumps.
4. Respond promptly to emergencies, managing patient care in high-pressure situations.
5. Collaborate with the medical team to develop and implement individualized care plans for each patient.
6. Educate patients’ families on care expectations and provide emotional support during difficult times.
7. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting changes in condition and treatment plans.

Requirements:

• Active RN License (Must be valid in the state of practice or compact license)
• 2+ years of ICU/critical care nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS Certifications (American Heart Association)
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• COVID-19 Vaccination and current health documentation
• Ability to work in high-stress, fast-paced environments and make quick decisions
